NATIVE TREES

Native Trees do well in our soil and climate.  Native Trees are drought tolerant.

Plant Native Trees, water them every 7-10 days for at least 6 months.

How?  Dig a hole four times as wide as the root ball.  NOT TOO DEEP.  You want to be able to see the flare at the base of the trunk. Mulch, ONLY 2-4 inches.

Avoid:  too much mulch, mulch mounds, mulch touching the trunk.

A HOLE TOO DEEP and TOO MUCH mulch is not good for the tree.
